My daughter and I started working on a list of colleges, but didn't know if the list was "realistic".  We signed up and began using the service. The service included the ACT/SAT prep which was valuable in getting scores higher for the primary purpose of getting the best scholarships  What was also included was a career assessment.  After completing that, a list of schools with those majors was put together. Finding those schools where she would excel, get a great GPA while going there, which were going to help in providing the least amount of out of pocket expenses for her was important.  We considered schools from all over the country, narrowed them down, and applied.  What a small amount of upfront investment for this kind of return, she ended up with several college universities offers that resulted in over half a million dollars in merit scholarships. My daughter is now going to an out of state private college, Tulsa University, for much less than an in-state cost for a state college in Texas.  She loves it there, and is happy with her decision.  She is on target to finish in four years.

Lori is passionate about empowering families to make the goal of a Right Fit college education reality.  By expertly relating to where Seth’s heart was at, she got our oldest son to finally understand the differences in colleges, how to position/market his value to the ones targeting students like him and most of all: buy into the potential monetary value in making the time to study for entrance exams one last time.  Seth was thrilled that dedicating 40 hours to test prep over Senior Thanksgiving break led to his re-take scores being high enough for several more schools to become an option.  He absolutely loves where he landed, taking on leadership roles and exploring campus life!  After attempting to study at a “bad fit” school myself, I’m excited Seth feels like he is home-away-from-home and will be maximizing time and money: he has all the courses and student life activities/programs he needs in cooler climate AND at reasonable in-state cost.  On track to get a 4-yr. degree, in 4 years, with no transfer … more than meets our expectations and couldn’t be happier about the outcome … definitely feel utilizing Lori as our college planning consultant was an excellent investment for our family!

Lori Greenhaw assisted our family in the college selection process for our son.  We had a lot of questions and concerns, and she immediately made us feel comfortable.  Our son had gone through a difficult transition when he was injured and had to leave behind all his basketball ambitions at the beginning of his junior year in high school.  Even though he was a good student, he had no direction to lead him into college entrance without being involved as a college athlete.  She met individually with our son to ensure he would be invested in this program.  She explained in detail all the steps and benefits her company had to offer.  Professionally, she explained the complicated college application and admission process in terms that we could understand.  She was very good in following up with us to make sure we had not missed any important steps.  Our family gained a lot of confidence by working with Lori and our son was accepted to all six colleges where he applied.  After visiting with Lori only a few times, we felt we were visiting an old friend.

The University of Texas was THE ONLY university in my daughter’s eyes, and with it having very steep requirements to even qualify for acceptance, we did not know if it was possible.  However, with your expert advice and guidance, not only was my daughter accepted, but she was also awarded the President’s Achievement Scholarship.  As stated previously, I am sure she would not have made it without you. 

Since I did not go to college, I was absolutely clueless on what needed to be done.  My daughter had some knowledge, but it was the basic information the high school provides to students.  Because of the plan you laid out, the tools and insight you provided along my daughter’s intelligence and determination, it was a complete success!  You were always available, you stayed on top of my daughter’s progress, provided great advice along the way -- you truly cared.
